At the Olympic and Paralympic Games, technology is everywhere. TECHNOLOGY area volunteers will be fundamental for operating competition scoreboards, collecting and distributing statistics and results, operating portable radio stations and providing technical support for information services. As such, these volunteers need to have the following:

• Knowledge of information technology and internet
• Basic grasp of IT and telecommunications
• Help desk experience
