The opening, closing and athlete award ceremonies are always majestic and thrilling. In order for everything to take place in a stunning and perfect manner, a large number of volunteers will work behind the scenes in the CEREMONY PRODUCTION area. This area’s volunteers will perform the following roles:

• Assist hairdressers, make-up artists and costume designers
• Assist with the ceremonies’ set design and behind the scenes work
• Organise the flags used in the ceremonies
• Carry the medals and flowers in the award ceremonies
• Assist with conducting the award ceremonies
• Accompany athletes during award ceremonies, between the waiting area and the podium

General skills

• Basic fabric cutting, sewing, hairdressing and make-up skills
• Basic experience in artistic productions and organising events and ceremonies
• Manual work skills
