The Arena João Mambrini, located in the city of São Sebastião do Paraíso, Minas Gerais state (South Region of Brazil), is suitable for Basketball, Handball and Volleyball, Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Rugby training. The venue opened in March 2010 and houses the Brazilian Basketball Federation Training and Development Centre. The venue is experienced in hosting national and international sporting events.
The venue features a multisport court with wooden sprung floor. It has a seating capacity of 3,500 and offers accommodation on site, parking area for 300 vehicles, multimedia meeting/briefing rooms, a team management office, and rooms for strength and conditioning, first aid and medical treatment, physiotherapy and massage. A restaurant, a café, and a rest area are also available. Access is controlled, with security personnel on site.

The Arena João Mambrini is headquarters for the Brazilian Basketball Federation Training and Development Centre and training ground for youth categories from other sports associations, such as the Men’s Handball National Team. Since its opening in 2010, the venue has hosted a Superliga de Voleibol Masculino match (Men’s Volleyball National League) and Copa Brasil de Basquete games (Brazilian Basketball Cup), in addition to state level championship matches and Men’s Handball international friendly games.
