The Estádio Municipal Claudio Moacyr de Azevedo is located in the city of Macaé, Rio de Janeiro state (Southeast Region of Brazil). The venue is suitable for Football training and is experienced in hosting regional and national level sporting events.

The venue first opened in 1982 and was refurbished in 2010. It has an indoor parking area and a natural grass pitch. The venue features first aid, physiotherapy and massage rooms, medical office, meeting/briefing and multimedia rooms and a private team management office. A café, a rest area and a steam room are also available. The venue has controlled access and security personnel on site.

Noteworthy events hosted at the venue include the A, B and C Series of the 2011 Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol (Brazilian Football championship), and the A and B Series of the 2012 Campeonato Carioca (Rio de Janeiro State championship).
