The Centro de Práticas Esportivas da Universidade de São Paulo (CEPEUSP) is located in the city of São Paulo, São Paulo state (Southeast Region of Brazil). The venue is suitable for Football, Rugby, Athletics, Swimming, Diving, Tennis, Canoe, Rowing, Judo, Artistic Gymnastics, Wheelchair Tennis and Para-Canoe training and is experienced in hosting regional and national level sporting events.

The venue has a total area of 570,000m², including a 4,200m² arena, two auditoriums with a total seating capacity of 200, five football pitches, ten indoor multi-purpose courts, nine synthetic floor tennis courts and an athletic track. Also available are a 50m Olympic pool, a diving pool, a multi-pool area with one 50m and two 25m pools, and a 4,801m cycling track surrounding a 2,150m x 100m rowing and canoeing structure.

The centre features strength and conditioning, first aid, medical treatment, physiotherapy and massage rooms, as well as meeting/briefing and multimedia rooms, a private team management office, restaurants, cafés and a rest area.

Renovation of this venue is scheduled to take place between 2012 and 2014. The venue has controlled access and security personnel on site.

Experience in sporting events:

The CEPEUSP hosted the XXX Torneio Brasileiro Interuniversidades de Ginástica Artística (Brazilian Artistic Gymnastics tournament) in 2011, and the 48th Volta da USP - Corrida de Rua in 2011.

It is located 440km from Rio de Janeiro and sits at an average altitude of 792km above sea level.
