Manège Domar

The Manège Domar is located in the city of Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro state (Southeast Region of Brazil). The venue is suitable for Equestrian training and is experienced in hosting regional and national sporting events.

The venue was founded in 2003. It features 22 individual stalls, a sand show jumping arena, an indoor riding arena and a full obstacle course. Meeting/briefing and multimedia rooms, a private team management office, a first aid room, and a café are also available. The venue has controlled access and security personnel on site.

Experience in sporting events:

Among the sporting events hosted at the Manège Domar, the most notable were the Concurso de Saltos Nacional de Hipismo (national Equestrian Show Jumping tournament), the Troféu Perpétuo Rodolfo Figueira de Melo (Equestrian tournament) and the Troféu Perpétuo Marcello Alencar (Equestrian tournament), all held from 2003 to 2011.

At an altitude of 809m above sea level, Petrópolis is located in the mountainous region of the state of Rio de Janeiro, 65km from the state capital. The city has a population of 295,917 (IBGE index). One of the main attractions in Petrópolis is the Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos (Pipe Organ Mountain Park), which covers 10,000 hectares.
