The Hotel Portobello Resort & Safari is located in the city of Mangaratiba, Rio de Janeiro state (Southeast Region of Brazil), and is situated on a land with 2,500 hectares of extension. It provides infrastructure for Tennis, Football and Beach Volleyball training.

The venue features infrastructure appropriated with accommodations, rooms for strength and conditioning, first aid, physiotherapy and massage, as well as meeting and multimedia rooms. It also features a restaurant, café and leisure and rest areas including sauna and steam rooms, a farm, rivers, waterfalls, hill sides, pools and an 800m-long private beach.

The Hotel Portobello Resort & Safari is constantly used to hold amateur and professional sporting events and by high performance football teams during their pre-season matches.

Experience in sporting events:

The resort is experienced in hosting amateur and professional, Brazilian and international sporting events. In 2010, it hosted a tournament of the Women's Tennis Circuit endorsed by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

About the city:

Mangaratiba is a coastal city located in the metropolitan region of the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is located 105km from the capital and has a population of approximately 36,456 (IBGE index). The main attractions of the city of Mangaratiba include the ruins of the Imperial Road (Estrada Imperial), inaugurated by Emperor Dom Pedro II in 1856, its mountain ranges, waterfalls, hiking trails, islands, preserved beaches and vegetation of the Atlantic Rainforest.
