The Universidade Bandeirante de São Paulo (UNIBAN) is located in the city of São Paulo, capital of the state that shares the same name (Southeast Region of Brazil) and provides infrastructure for Volleyball and Judo training. The venue offers easy access to transportation, commerce, services and leisure options such as parks, cultural centres, expositions and conventions.

The venue features rooms appropriated for strength and conditioning, first aid, medical treatment, physiotherapy and massage. It also features meeting, briefing and multimedia rooms, a private team management office, rest area for athletes, a sports equipment safekeeping area, restaurant and café. The venue is available on an exclusive use basis.

The university is deeply rooted in the Brazilian sports scenario, mainly Volleyball: the women’s team of the institution competes in the Superliga de Vôlei (Brazilian Volleyball league).

Experience in sporting events:

The university is experienced in hosting high performance Brazilian sporting events, such as the Grand Prix of Judo for the Visually Impaired.

It is located 440km from Rio de Janeiro and sits at an average altitude of 792km above sea level.
