The Ginásio Municipal de Esportes Álvaro Rocha Giordano (Vavá) is located in the city of Araçatuba, São Paulo state (Southeast Region of Brazil). Inaugurated in 1979, the venue underwent structural reformation works, completed in 2011, to appropriate the necessities of high performance sports teams in Basketball training.
The gymnasium features a first aid room, restaurant, café, controlled access and security personnel on site, a sports equipment safekeeping area and is available on an exclusive use basis. The venue is located in the central region of the city, 100m from its partner training camp, the Ginásio Municipal de Esportes Dr. Plácido Rocha.
The local team represents Araçatuba in the Liga de Basquete Feminino (women's Brazilian Basketball league).
