The Clube Naval Charitas is located in the city of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro state (Southeast Region of Brazil). It has 57,480m² of area and provides infrastructure for Sailing, Tennis and Wheelchair Tennis training.

The venue features own accommodation and rooms appropriated for strength and conditioning, first aid, medical treatment, physiotherapy and massage. It also features a restaurant and café on site, meeting and briefing room, private team management offices, an exclusive sport equipment safekeeping area and a relaxation area for athletes including sauna and steam rooms.

The club has revealed high performance athletes, mainly in Sailing, and has been represented by Rodrigo Amado and Leonardo Santos, world champions in the Optimist and 470 categories.

Experience in sporting events:

The Clube Naval Charitas is experienced in hosting Brazilian and international sporting events such as the IODA World Sailing Championship and South American Championships in the Optimist class, the Centro Sudamericano (Mid South American) Tournament in the Laser class, the Campeonato Estadual (Rio de Janeiro state Championship) in the J-24 class and the Circuito Oceânico de Niterói (municipal championship).

Niterói is one of the cities that comprise the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. The city is located 13km from the capital and has a population of 487,562 (IBGE index). The main tourist attractions of Niterói are its beaches and the Parque da Cidade city park.
