The Centro de Treinamento de Tiro com Arco is headquartered in the city of Maricá, in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro state (Southeast Region of Brazil). It provides infrastructure for Archery training, equipped with a training area measuring 70m wide and 100m long.
The venue features accommodation for 25 athletes and team head management, strength and conditioning room, rest area for athletes, a sports equipment safekeeping area and meeting and briefing rooms, which may also be converted into a mess hall and kitchen, depending on the needs of the accommodated team.
The training centre has several high performance athletes in its personnel such as Daniel Xavier, Sarha Nikitini and Ane Marcelle.

The Centro de Treinamento de Tiro com Arco is experienced in hosting Brazilian and international sporting events. The most notable events were the Campeonato Brasileiro Cadete e Juvenil (Brazilian cadet and juvenile championships), the preparation for the selective process for the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Torneio Internacional Brasil-Itália (an international tournament between Brazil and Italy).

Maricá is located on the coastline of Rio de Janeiro state, 50km from the capital, and has a population of 127,461(IBGE index). The city is known for its beaches and mountain ranges such as the Serra da Tiririca and the Barra de Maricá and Itaipuaçu beaches.
