The Base Naval do Rio de Janeiro was founded in the mid-1970's and is headquartered in the city of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro state (Southeast Region of Brazil). The venue provides complete infrastructure for Swimming training.
The venue features own accommodation, restaurant and café, strength and conditioning room, first aid room and its own hospital. It also features meeting and briefing rooms, private team management offices, multimedia room, rest areas for athletes, parking and military personnel security.
