

The Parque Aquático Municipal de Volta Redonda is located in the city of Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro state (Southeast Region of Brazil), and provides infrastructure for Swimming training. Structural reformation scheduled for 2012 and 2013 will provide exclusive areas for strength and conditioning, multimedia rooms and improvements for full disabled access.
Currently, the venue provides a first aid room, a café, a rest and relaxation area for athletes and controlled access and security personnel on site.
Volta Redonda is the hometown of Swimming athlete Thiago Pereira, who used the venue to train at the start of his career.
