The Estádio Municipal 1º de Maio, better known as the Vila Euclides Stadium, is headquartered in the city of São Bernardo do Campo, located in the metropolitan region of  São Paulo, the state capital (Southeast Region of Brazil). Having recently undergone renovation (in 2010), the stadium now provides grass playing areas, drainage system and remodelled changing rooms to accommodate sporting events.

The stadium offers infrastructure for meetings, first aid room, medical treatment, physiotherapy and massage. It also includes a café and a security team on site.

The venue has hosted regional sporting events and is located in a region that offers a wide range of infrastructure for services, accommodation and commerce. It also provides easy access to the city of São Paulo.

Experience in sporting events:

The local football team, São Bernardo Futebol Clube, hosts its games at the Estádio Municipal 1º de Maio. Currently, the team competes in the A2-Series of the Campeonato Paulista de Futebol (Paulista Football Championship). The stadium has also hosted A1-Series games of the Paulista Football Championship.

About the city:

São Bernardo do Campo is located in the metropolitan region of the capital of São Paulo state, 453km from Rio de Janeiro. The city has a population of 765,203 (IBGE index) and sits at an average altitude of 762m above sea level.
