The Complexo Esportivo PUC Minas is located in the city of Belo Horizonte, capital of the state of Minas Gerais (Southeast Region of Brazil). It was inaugurated in 1977, and underwent a structural rennovation in 2003.

The venue offers an area for Athletics training and includes facilities such as a strength and conditioning room, exercise physiology laboratories, physiotherapy and massage rooms, café, meeting/briefing rooms and relaxation areas. It also includes accessibility for people with disabilities.

It was initially designed to be used as a space for mandatory Physical Education courses and leisure for the academic community, but today, the facility carries out national and regional sporting projects and events.

Experience in sporting events:

Currently, the venue is used to train the Paralympic athletes of ADEVIBEL (Associação dos Deficientes Visuais de Belo Horizonte). Among the events hosted on site, the most notable was the 9th edition of the Jogos Paradesportivos de Minas Gerais (ParaSport Games of the State of Minas Gerais).

Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais state, is located approximately 434km from Rio de Janeiro, and sits at an average altitude of 852m above sea level. The city has a population of 2,375,444 (IBGE index) and is a key representative in the Brazilian sports scenario, having hosted events such as the Volta Internacional da Pampulha de Ciclismo (Pampulha International Cycling Circuit).
