

The Arena de Atletismo de Volta Redonda is a project of the municipal government of Volta Redonda, in the state of Rio de Janeiro (Southeast Region of Brazil). The construction works began on April 2012 and should be complete by November 2013, offering one athletic track and one athletic area for Athletics training.
Once the construction work is completed, the arena will also be equipped with strength and conditioning, first aid and dedicated medical treatment rooms, a café, team management office and leisure and rest area for athletes.
