Avaí Futebol Clube is located in the city of Florianópolis, capital of Santa Catarina state (South Region of Brazil). The stadium's constructed area of over 30,000m² includes areas for the training and execution of national and international Football tournaments.

The Aderbal Ramos da Silva Stadium (Estádio Aderbal Ramos da Silva) - more widely known as the Ressacada Stadium (Estádio da Ressacada) - is currently undergoing remodelling and expansion works. Today, it offers three official football pitches and an infrastructure equipped with strength and conditioning, first aid, physiotherapy and massage rooms. It also includes a restaurant, café, meeting/briefing rooms with multimedia equipment and an exclusive rest area for athletes.

Among the athletes who started their career in Avaí Futebol Clube, the most notable are Marquinhos Santos (with passages through several Brazilian clubs and through Bayer Leverkusen, in Germany), Renan (player of the Corinthians team during the 2012 season, with passages through the Brazilian National Team) and Edno (player of the Tigres team, a Mexican Football team, during the 2012 season).

Avaí Futebol Clube has hosted Brazilian and international tournament phases at its stadium, such as the Campeonato Brasileiro (Brazilian Football championship), the Copa do Brasil (Brazilian Football Cup), the Copa Sudamericana (South America Football Cup) and friendly matches of the Brazilian National Team.
