The Complexo Esportivo da ULBRA is located in the city of Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul state (South Region of Brazil). The venue is experienced in hosting national sporting events and is suitable for Basketball, Volleyball, Football and Tennis training.

The stadium at the Sports Complex provides 6,475 numbered seats, of which 2,483 are covered. Also available are four changing rooms. Two of these rooms have a synthetic grass warm up area including other indoor activities, Jacuzzis, showers, drying area, team management office and wardrobe area. It also includes an arena with wooden sprung floor and four clay tennis courts.

The venue offers accommodation and rooms for strength and conditioning, first aid, medical treatment, physiotherapy and massage. Meeting/briefing and multimedia rooms, a private team management office, rest area, restaurant and café on site are also available. The venue has controlled access and security personnel on site.

Experience in sporting events:

Noteworthy sporting events taking place at the venue every year include the Campeonato Brasileiro de Basquete (Brazilian Basketball Championship), since 2001, and the Campeonato Gaúcho de Futebol (Rio Grande do Sul State Football Championship). The 2010 Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol Sub-20 (2010 U-20 Brazilian Football Championship) was also played at this venue.

The city of Canoas is located in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, capital city of Rio Grande do Sul state. It has a population of 323,827 (IBGE index), sits at an average altitude of 8m above sea level and is located 1,534km from Rio de Janeiro. Among its natural attractions, the most notable is the Parque Municipal Fazenda Guajuviras (Fazenda Guajuviras City Park), which has large environmentally preserved areas.
