The Estádio Municipal Gíglio Portugal Pichinin (Baetão) is located in the city of São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo state (Southeast Region of Brazil). It first opened in 1973 and was refurbished in 2010. The renovated venue features a synthetic grass pitch and two adjacent arenas. The sports complex has hosted a number of national level sporting events and is suitable for Basketball, Volleyball, Judo, Taekwondo, Football 5-a-side, Football 7-a-side and Wheelchair Basketball training.

The sports complex offers strength and conditioning, first aid and medical treatment rooms, as well as a meeting/briefing room, a private team management office, and a café. The venue has controlled access and security personnel on site.

Experience in sporting events:

Superliga de Vôlei Masculino e Feminino (Men’s and Women’s Volleyball National League) games are held at the Estádio Municipal Gíglio Portugal Pichinin (Baetão) every year.

About the city:

São Bernardo do Campo is located in the metropolitan region of the capital of the state of São Paulo, 507km from the city of Rio de Janeiro. The municipality has a population of 765,203 (IBGE index) and sits at an average altitude of 762m above sea level.
