The Iate Clube do Espírito Santo is located in the city of Vitória, capital of Espírito Santo state (Southeast Region of Brazil). It was founded in 1946 and is equipped to provide Sailing training. The venue provides infrastructure to accommodate approximately 200 watercrafts every year, including warehouses, a pier and inflatable and support crafts.

The venue features areas appropriated for first aid, a meeting and briefing room, private team management office, restaurant, café, a sports equipment safekeeping area and rest area for athletes including sauna and steam rooms. Construction works, currently underway and scheduled for completion in 2013, will provide a multimedia room and strength and conditioning room. High performance athlete Odile Gnaid, who is competing for a spot in the Olympics in the Laser class, trains at the club.

The Iate Clube do Espírito Santo is experienced in hosting Brazilian and international sporting events such as the Torneio Pré-Olímpico de Vela (pre-Olympic Sailing tournament), the XXVI Campeonato Brasileiro de Iatismo (Brazilian Sailing tournament) - Laser class and the XXIX Campeonato Brasileiro de Iatismo (Brazilian Sailing  championship) - Optimist class.
