The Escola Preparatória de Cadetes-do-Ar (EPCAR) was inaugurated in 1949 in the city of Barbacena, Minas Gerais state (Southeast Region of Brazil). It has a total area of 432km² and provides infrastructure for Judo and Fencing training.
The venue features own accommodation, areas appropriated for strength and conditioning, physiotherapy and massage, and first aid and medical treatment rooms. It also features a restaurant, café, meeting, briefing and multimedia rooms, an exclusive sports equipment safekeeping area and a rest area for athletes including sauna and steam rooms.
