Sebastião "Tião Sapo" Lima at 86 years old is a basket ball legend. He has played the sport for 71 yeas and has over 50 titles on his CV. He could hide his joy in participating in the torch relay. "For me, it's the biggest event on the planet."

Beach volleyball player Sandra Voloch brought the bronze medal she won at Atlanta 1996 to the Olympic torch relay in the city where she resides today. She got a warm reception from the crowd. "It's a lot of emotion, a new dream realised," she said.
