• Waldeci Souza, a member of the Brazilian wrestling team for Rio 2016, carried the torch in the Amazon region today. He runs a social project which teaches sport to 150 children in Manaus. "I want to give back everything that sport has given me."

    This Monday (20 June), the Olympic flame continues its tour of the Amazon visiting the municipalities of Iranduba and Presidente Figueiredo. The torch relay will cover over 450km today. Tupé beach, the homelands of the Dessana tribe is on the route.
