Bianca Barreto is a six-time jiu-jitsu world champion but she was shaking with nerves before carrying the Olympic torch. "It's not just 1.2 kilograms, it feels like three tonnes. It's a lot of responsibility. I was more nervous than before a fight."

Ronaldo Tenório and José Thadeu Luz were invited to carry the torch after creating Hand Talk, a digital platform that translates Portuguese into sign language for the hard of hearing.
