Olympian deities descended upon Leopoldina with their own torches to celebrate the Olympic torch relay in Leopoldina.

Torch bearer Rodrigo Pereira Soares, brought his fan club to the torch relay today. The law student, who has a visual impairment, will have the support of his university colleagues and his mother, Nancy, who will assist during his leg of the relay.

We have even had Capoeira to welcome the torch. José Dimas de Souza is 61 and has been a master of Capoeira for 43 years. "Sport is good and necessary, to pull kids away from this electronic world", says the instructor who teaches over 100 children.
