Residents and tourists celebrated the torch's arrival in Ituberá with music, dance and tonnes of colour.

Thousands of people waited in front of the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição in Ituberá. About 500 local school children formed a human chain to guide and greet the torch relay.
