Anselmo Gomes represented Brazil at Beijing 2008 in the 110m hurdles. Today he trains in Indaiatuba where he carries the Olympic torch today. "This torch is piece of me and the rest of the athletics team participating at the Rio Games," he said.

This cycling club which has 50 member were present at the Olympic torch relay in Indaiatuba this Thursday (21 July). They have a tradition in which they meet once a year to cycle all the way to Aparecida do Norte, 165 miles away.
