A special monument was built in Camocim to commemorate the Olympic Torch Relay. Standing in front of the town's main church, the spot was a popular place to take a photograph today.

The people of Camocim have gone full out to welcome the Torch with all the best of their culture: colourful costumes, regional music and dance, and specially decorated streets all greeted the relay. These children loved every moment of the big day.
