GE

GE

Since 2005 GE has been a partner of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) in holding ever-more sustainable games. This partnership will continue for a long time, as GE has renewed its sponsorship contract for the Olympic Games until 2020. The company has contributed to building a great legacy around the world, with infrastructure solutions and technology that have been implemented in the Winter Olympics in Turin in 2006, and Vancouver in 2010, and the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Click here to learn more about what was achieved in Beijing. For the London Olympics in 2012 we are working with the IOC so that the event also leaves a great legacy for the city. As for the Rio Olympics in 2016, GE has a large portfolio of solutions that can help build the infrastructure required for the city to be able to host the event, among which: energy generation and distribution systems, image diagnostics, monitoring technology and electronic medical records, lighting systems, aircraft engines, water and sewerage treatment installations and services, equipment and transport management, and others.
