The Rio 2016 Committee counts on more two names integrating the Board of Directors: Carlos Villanova (Communication Director) and Henrique Gonzalez (Human Resources Director).
With master’s degree from IME (Military Institute of Engineering) and post-graduation in Finances from FGV (Getulio Vargas Foundation), the engineer Henrique Gonzalez Garcia Filho will lead the Human Resources Department that will manage, by 2016, besides the contractors, about four thousand employees. Henrique Gonzalez has worked for Shell for 19 years as Brazil and Latin America Human Resources Director. His last experience was with automotive services as the Human Resources Director of DPaschoal.
Press officer of the Brazilian embassy in Washington for 14 years, the diplomat Carlos Villanova, former Press Assistant Secretary of the Presidency of the Republic, will be in charge of the Communication Department of the Rio 2016 Committee. Carlos Villanova worked for the Presidency of the Republic attending the international media and was one of the organizers of the book “No Planalto, com a Imprensa - depoimentos de secretário de imprensa e porta-vozes, de JK a Lula”, published in 2010.
