On 26 November, the Rio 2016™ Paralympic Games emblem will be unveiled to thousands of people at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, one of the Rio 2016™ Games’ venues. Ten days before the event, a video made of “My Paralympic picture” cultural contest finalist photos and phrases prepares you to get in the mood of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games emblem. Check out the video!
Some other actions will also be part of the warm-up countdown. This week, a special about Paralympic sports – Boccia, Goalball and Para-canoe – will count on interviews, special content and much more.
Some basic notions on the Paralympic Games and the Paralympic Movement will also be at your reach. Since when do both Games, Olympic and Paralympic, take place at the same city? Why are there two different logos? Have you ever heard about the agitos? Do you know what the Paralympic values are? These and some other questions will be answered on an article that will give you an overview of the main issues regarding the Paralympic Games.
In the launch week, you will learn more about the stories of “My Paralympic picture” cultural contest winners: each of the four photos has a story of achievement behind it, and we want you to get involved in it.
