Eight finalist agencies prepare a proposal to develop the new Rio 2016 Olympic Games website

Eight agencies specializing in digital platform were qualified for the final phase of the selection process of the company that will develop the new Rio 2016 site. From the 26 agencies that submitted the required documentation, the ones that have reached the minimum score and qualified for the second phase of the process were: Publicis, AgĂȘnciaClick Isobar, Aldeia, Be!, CajĂș 68, Canvas, Ginga and TV1.
The selected companies have until Oct. 6th to submit their proposed work, based on the briefing presented to professionals last week. Each proposal must contain the Creative Proposal, Price Proposal, Applied Methodology and Supplementary Planning.
The Evaluation Commission shall be made up of employees from the RIO 2016 and the Brazilian Olympic Committee with experience in Marketing, Digital Planning, Communications and Technology.
Besides the visual based on the new Rio 2016 brand, the new site will offer features that meet the variety of audiences that Games gather - athletes, students, volunteers, tourists, entrepreneurs etc.
The new Rio 2016 site will enter service in the first minute of 2011, during the New Year's Eve party.

October 6th - Submission of Technical Proposal
October 7th and 8th - Presentation to the Evaluation Commission
October 13th - Announcement of the winning agency
