The draw for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games women's volleyball competition will see the USA face China on 14 August in a repeat of the 2014 world championship final and Brazil take on Japan on 10 August in a re-run of their London 2012 semi-final.
The 12 teams have been split into two pools of six, with the top four from each group qualifying for the quarter-finals.
Hosts and defending Olympic champions Brazil will begin their Rio 2016 campaign against Olympic newcomers Cameroon on 6 August, while the USA will open their campaign against debutants Puerto Rico on the same day.
Groups drawn for men's volleyball at Rio 2016 Olympic Games
The Rio 2016 Olympic Games women’s volleyball tournament will take place from 6 to 20 August. All matches will take place at the Maracanãzinho stadium.
Check out the full schedule below. Tickets are sold per session and each session features two matches. The second match is scheduled to start two hours and five minutes after the first match.
