Tips 4 Gringos: how to take the best selfies in Rio

The Rio 2016 Olympic Games are almost upon us. In just two weeks' time the curtain will be raised on the world’s biggest sporting festival. During the Games, Rio de Janeiro will receive hundreds of thousands of tourists, some of whom are already here enjoying the city's exuberant nature, beautiful beaches, breathtaking scenery and vibrant, welcoming culture.

Rio2016.com has put together a series of fun videos aimed at helping visitors navigate their surroundings and get the most out of their Rio experience.

In the “Tips 4 Gringos”* series, Rio 2016 presenters Elea and Patrick will be roving around town, enjoying the best the city has to offer and giving a heads-up on all things Rio – from vital Portuguese expressions to the best of the nightlife.

*Disclaimer: Don’t worry, “gringo” is not an offensive term in Brazil, it is simply the word given to anyone that comes from abroad.

In the first video in the series, our hosts Patrick and Elea start with the basics: where to take cracking selfies. Check it out below.
