Tips 4 Gringos duo hit Jamaica House

By Rio 2016

Resident DJ and live performers including Bob Marley’s son make this hospitality house one of Rio 2016’s hottest party spots

Tips 4 Gringos duo hit Jamaica House

As part of their Tips 4 Gringos series, Elea and Patrick visited Rio 2016 party central: Jamaica House (Rio 2016)

Rio 2016 presenters Elea and Patrick, decided it was time to let their hair down and take a trip to Jamaica House as part of their 'Tips 4 Gringos' series of short films.

Located at the Prado restaurant in Rio de Janeiro’s Jockey Club, this hospitality house is bringing to Rio some of the colour, history, music and food from the sunshine island of the Caribbean, a place that has produced Olympic superstars such as Usain Bolt, Elaine Thompson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

It will be one of the best spots to watch Bolt during the Rio 2016 Games.

What time is Usain Bolt running in the 100m at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games?

During the Olympic Games Jamaica House has proved to be one of the hottest tickets in town, with an in-house DJ spinning the best of reggae, dancehall and international music, as well as a whole host of invited live artists including Brazil’s Digital Dubs, Jamaican superstar Luciano and the son of the late-great reggae legend Bob Marley, Kymani.

Usually it is Elea showing fellow presenter Patrick around Rio, but on this occasion the roles have been reversed as Patrick introduced Elea to the culture of his family’s country. Check it out here:
