Spain and Lithuania have had their places at the Rio 2016 Games confirmed by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) at the end of the European championship.
Spain triumphed 80-63 in the final on Sunday (20 September) night although both teams had already booked their tickets for Brazil by reaching the final of EuroBasket 2015 in Lille, France.
Lithuania beat Serbia 67-64 on Friday (18 September), while Spain had defeated hosts France 80-75 in a nail-biting match the previous day.
France, Serbia, Greece, Italy and Czech Republic – who finished third to seventh respectively – all booked places in next year's FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments (OQTs).
