Brazilian’s passion for Volleyball is everywhere. In the streets, squares, beaches, in the courts and in the seashore. The sport is one of the most popular in the country, that will host the first Olympic and Paralympic Games of the South America. For that reason, Rio 2016™ has prepared a special that will show how this national preference has developed over the time and turned into professional excellence and gold medals.
We have prepared a new content about Volleyball and Volleyball (Sitting), where you can find the regulations and history of the sports, the most expected in the Rio 2016 Games™.
During the week, check out interviews and articles with: the only coach that was Champion with the men’s and women’s team, José Roberto Guimarães; the best player and gold medallist of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Paula Pequeno; and the expert in Sitting Volleyball, Amauri Ribeiro, who has participated as a player when Brazil won the gold in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.
Read on the published specials: Swimming | Athletics | Judo | Shooting | Triathlon.
