The Brazilian Association of Design Companies acknowledges the honesty and quality of the process, which has turned into a branding case
The Rio 2016 Organizing Committee received an acknowledment letter for the quality and honesty on the selection process of the Olympic Games emblem, sent by the President of the Brazilian Association of Design Companies (Abedesign), Luciano Deos, on the last Friday. In the document, the association thanks for being invited to be one of the four representative entities on the bid process, and says that it is at disposal of the Committee to contribute with the next stages of the design journey to 2016. Dear Sir Leonardo Gryner,
The Abedesign (Brazilian Association of Design Companies) thanks the Brazilian Olympic Committee for the invitation to be one of the four representative entities contributing to the creation selection process of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games emblem, which counted on the associated Tátil Design as the winner of the bid, besides the seven finalists also associated with the entity.
We are honored to congratulate the Brazilian Olympic Committee for the honesty and quality of the selection process and choice of the symbol, which reflects the values required by the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games.
The ABEDESIGN is at disposal to give continuity, together with the Brazilian Olympic Committee, to the definition and formulation of the participation of the design community in the next stages, once the entity has worked tirelessly on the appreciation and exaltation of the Brazilian design in the country and in the entire world.
Definitely, the Rio 2016 Olympic Games must be a mark in the Brazilian design, leaving a permanent legacy to the development of the design in the country and leading it to a new level worldwide.
