On 16 May, the Rio 2016™ Organizing Committee’s General Manager of Licensing, Retail and Concessions, Sylmara Multini, participated in the 4th Brazil Licensing Forum in the city of São Paulo. Sylmara spoke about the benefits that the Rio 2016™ project will bring to the Brazilian brand licensing market and showed the advantages that licensed companies will have when they join the project.

The audience, composed of licensing agents, manufacturers of licensed products, retailers and advertising professionals, could see close-up the licensing opportunities offered by the Rio 2016™ Olympic and Paralympic Games. According to Sylmara, “Rio 2016™’s participation in the Forum was important to divulge our brand, as well as to discuss trends in the licensing area with an extremely qualified audience. We were able to exchange information about new technologies that are affecting the sector, and meet licensing and retail professionals from throughout Brazil.”

People unable to interact with the Rio 2016™ Organizing Committee at the Brazil Licensing Forum will have a new chance to do so at the Brazil Licensing Meeting, the biggest licensing fair in the country. The Fair, which will have a Rio 2016™ Games stand, will take place on 11 and 12 September in São Paulo. At the Fair, visitors will be able to find out details of the Rio 2016™ brand’s licensing program and to discover more about the plans for the biggest sports event on the planet.
