President of Rio 2016 to meet with representatives of London 2012 games

Together with Minister Orlando Silva and Governor Sérgio Cabral, Carlos Arthur Nuzman will visit the London Olympic Park and meet with Minister Tessa Jowell and former Prime Minister Tony Blair
The President of Rio 2016 Organizing Committee Carlos Arthur Nuzman, traveled to London, on Tuesday, January 26, where he has meetings scheduled with representatives of the London Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games. Minister of Sport Orlando Silva and Governor Sergio Cabral will also attend these meetings.
The Brazilian delegation will be visiting London Olympic Park and the headquarters of London 2012 Organizing Committee, where they will be welcomed by LOCOG Chair Sebastian Coe and Deputy Chair Keith Mills. Other meetings are also scheduled with 2012 Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
An exchange of experiences and information between Olympic Games host cities is critical. Along the bid phase, we were in contact with the London Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games 2012 on several occasions. Now, as host city, these ties will become even closer, Nuzman said.
