Anthony's Howe sculpture housing the Rio 2016 Olympic cauldron has become one of the city's most popular tourist attractions.
The kinetic work of art, located opposite the historic church of Candelária in central Rio de Janeiro, moves in the city's subtropical breezes and reflects the sun's changing rays over the course of the day.
Photographers from Rio 2016 documented shimmering images of the cauldron in time-lapse as the sun rose over the Olympic city.
