"The station has the capacity to treat 1,600 liters per second. This will be a great contribution of the Pan to the depollution of the lagoons in Barra and Jacarepaguá", say Minc.
The State Department will also make a deal with businessmen from the civil construction sector so that they assist Serla (Fundação Superintendência Estadual de Rios e Lagoas) Rio de Janeiro State Agency for Rivers and Lagoons in the dredging of one million cubic meters of mud from the bottom of the lagoons.
