Brazil's largest city and its business capital, São Paulo will host a series of Olympic football matches during Rio 2016, including a men's semi-final and the women's bronze medal game.
In total 10 matches will played at the Corinthians Arena, home stadium of two-time FIFA Club World Cup champions Corinthians. During the 2014 World Cup, the stadium hosted six games, including the opening match between Brazil and Croatia.
At Rio 2016, the host nation will be desperate to win the only major international football title they have never won. The Brazilians named their men's squad on Wednesday (29 June), with Barcelona star Neymar and Bayern Munich forward Douglas Costa leading an intimidating looking attack.
Groups and match schedule defined for Rio 2016

Canada v Australia
The Canadians are one of women's football rising powers. After winning an unexpected bronze at London 2012, they could have what it takes to go even further in Brazil. The match against the Australians will be key; with Germany group favourites, this game could decide the runner-up position.
Germany v Zimbabwe
Everything points to a German goal feast. The Germans, world champions in 2003 and 2007, should dispose of the unfancied Africans with ease as they open their campaign for a first ever OIympic gold.
Zimbabwe v Canada
Zimbabwe qualified for Rio 2016 by recording an unexpected win over Cameroon. Currently ranked 93 in the world, they will be taking on world no.10 nation Canada.
Germany v Australia
The European and Asian champions face off in a mouth-watering match. Australia are a fast-improving side who have done well to conquer their Asian neighbours. Both sides have a strong chance of being among the medals in Rio.
Quarter-final: winner of group F v runner-up in group G
If Germany win their group, they will be playing again in the Corinthians Arena. France and Colombia look the most likely rivals from group G, behind the USA in first.
Bronze medal match
Two losing semi-finalists will have to pick themselves up for a last chance to win a medal at Rio 2016.

Colombia v Nigeria
Group B is the hardest to call, so there will likely be everything to play for when the last group matches get underway. While Colombia and Nigeria face off in São Paulo, Japan and Sweden will be playing at the same time in Salvador. Expect high drama.
South Africa v Iraq
If Brazil and Denmark slip up in any way in group A, South Africa and Iraq could qualify for the quarter-finals at this match, which will be the very last in the group stages.
Quarter-final: winner of group A v runner-up in group B
Brazil look a strong favourite to be involved in this game, with all the passionate support of the paulista crowd. It's hard to predict who will be their opponents from group B; one of Colombia, Nigeria, Japan and Sweden awaits.

Semi-final
If the draw goes as expected – and there's no guarantee of that – the Corinthians Arena could witness classic confrontations such as Argentina against Mexico or Germany against Argentina, a repeat of the 2014 World Cup final.
