CASA BRASIL: Get to know the “Passion and Transformation” exhibition

Art: Divulgation

A beautiful view of Rio de Janeiro mountains welcomes visitors to the “Passion and Transformation: a unique experience through sport” exhibition at Casa Brasil, in London, to commence on 20 July.  Through sculptural panels, videos, photos and interactive totems, Casa Brasil visitors take a tour to the Rio 2016™ Olympic and Paralympic Games which includes the victory day of the technical and sport project, the creation and test of brands, the city’s transformation and growth of Brazilian sport.

In the first part, visitors will have the opportunity to touch and feel the multisensory aspects of Rio 2016™ brand and to share this unforgettable experience with all their friends.

In the second part, visitors get to know the projects of the Brazilian Olympic and Paralympic Committee for the development of our athletes and the future champion generations, as well as the locations where the world’s best athletes will compete in 2016.

Casa Brasil

Casa Brasil will take up the main galleries at the Somerset House, located on the banks of the Thames River in London, showcasing the Brazilian contemporary culture, art and design, Rio de Janeiro as the Olympic and Paralympic city and the Rio 2016™ project.

The exhibition will open to guests on 20 July and to the public on the following day. The entrance is free of charge. The space is open daily from 11:00 am to 07:00 pm, until 8 September. On Thursdays, the exhibition exceptionally closes at 09:00 pm.
