Originated in the 1920s in California, Beach Volleyball is almost a centenary in the world scenario, but it is just a teenager in the Olympic programme. In Atlanta 1996, the sport debuted in the Olympic Games, and the 10,000 stadium was sold out! And this is the expectation to the competitions that will take place in Copacabana Beach in 2016.

After the Volleyball, Triathlon, Shooting, Judo, Athletics and Swimming specials, the Beach Volleyball special tells the story of the mythic double Adriana Behar and Shelda; the trajectory of the Olympic twice-champion Misty May; and it shows Emanuel’s Olympic spirit, a Brazilian athlete who, at 38 years old, is the current Beach Volleyball world champion.
