FARAH CLINCHES DOUBLE-DOUBLE GOLD
Mo Farah defended the double gold he earned at London 2012 to remain Olympic champion in the men's 5000m and 10,000m. Tonight at Olympic Stadium the Great Britian middle-distance runner won the 5000m in 13 minutes, 3:03 seconds by pushing a blistering pace on the final lap to hold off Ethiopia's Hagos Gebrhiwet and the USA's Bernard Lagat, who took silver and bronze.

This morning, in dramatic fashion, he slipped in the 5000m heats but recovered to reach the final. Similarily, he fell in the 10,000m final before going on to win the race.

TUNE IN NOW: MO FARAH TRYING TO RUN DOWN SECOND GOLD AT RIO 2016
Great Britain's Mo Farah won gold in the men's 10,000m and looks to double that right now with the 5000m championship, repeating his victories at London 2012.

He has moved up from the back of the pack and is now fifth with seven laps to go. Ethiopia's Dejen Gebremeskel leads.

MATTHEW CENTROWITZ WINS 1500m GOLD
The men's 1500m finished this evening with another American gold medal. Matthew Centrowitz saw off his competition in a super-tight finish, winning the race with a time of 3:50.00.

To give you an idea of how close it was, Taoufik Makhloufi of Algeria came in second with a time of 3:50.11 and Nicholas Willis of New Zealand came third with a time of 3:50.24. In fact the difference between first place and sixth was less than one second. An incredible race!

BOLT MIGHT NOT BE DONE JUST YET...
Franck Ballanger was working late at the Olympic Stadium when he heard noises coming from the unlit field. Someone was throwing a javelin in the dark.

BOLT COLLECTS HIS LAST OLYMPIC MEDAL
It's the end of an era as Usain Bolt stands for the last time on an Olympic podium as he collects his gold medal for the 4x100m relay he won alongside team-mates Asafa Powel, Yohan Blake and Nickel Ashmead on Friday (19 August).

Just in case you missed it, this medal is his ninth Olympic gold as he completed his triple triple, winning gold in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay at three consecutive Olympic Games, Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016. The greatest sprinter of all time, he shall be sorely missed.

RIO 2016's KEVIN DARLING AT THE MARACANA

A pulsating game has a fairytale ending for Brazil and their captain Neymar, who caps an inspirational display with an ice-cool winning penalty. His tears after converting the decisive spot-kick showed just how much this victory meant. A first Olympic Games football gold, a recovery from the team's recent humbling at the Copa America and the first time the national side can truly feel good about itself since "7-1". There is huge relief inside the Maracana but, above all, there is joy. For the first time in a long time, Brazilian football can smile again.

It's Neymar.

It had to be Neymar!

He scores for Brazil and breaks into tears as the Maracana erupts with joy for Olympic gold!

Nils Petersen steps up.

Penalty is saved by Weverton! If Brazil scores, Brazil wins!

Luan scores.
