ALL SQUARE IN RIOCENTRO
This is as tight as they come. One game all, and Malaysia's Lee and China's Lin are all square at 7-7 in the third game. The atmosphere in Riocentro is incredible for what is turning into a modern classic.

LEE IS BACK IN IT
Quite a turnaround at Riocentro, Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei has now levelled at one-game all against Lin Dan of China, taking the second game 21-11. There's a real story between these two badminton legends and this is turning into quite the match.

Momentum definitely with Lee now.

FIRST BLOOD TO LIN DAN
China's Lin Dan, defending Olympic champion, has taken the first game with surprising ease against Malaysia's no.1 seeded Lee Chong Wei in the badminton semi-final in Riocentro, 21-15. Is the pressure getting to Lee?

BOM DIA
Hello from Rio, where last night's heavy rainfall is evaporating quickly in lovely early morning sunshine. It's all set up for a great day of sport, with the finishing line of Rio 2016 now in sight. It's a massive gold medal day for BMX, women's hockey and women's football. USA take on their greatest challenge, Spain, in basketball. Plus Usain Bolt will be bowing out of Rio 2016 in the 4x100m relay, the last leg of his triple-triple quest.

Riocentro is the place to start, with a huge day of badminton about to get underway. Later comes Carolina Marin against P. V. Sindhu in the women's singles final, but first up is the small matter of Lin Dan of China against Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia.

BOA NOITE FROM RIO
Day 13 has been a dramatic one. The USA women will now be running in the 4x100m relay after being allowed a re-run. Norway were denied a chance to retain their women's handball title by Russia, Argentina took their first-ever men's hockey medal, which just so happened to be gold, the British Brownlee brothers won gold and silver in the triathlon, Usain Bolt became a triple 200m Olympic champion, and last but definitely not least, Brazil have officially won more medals than ever before.

With five gold, five silver and five bronze medals, they have equalled the number of golds won at Athens and bettered the overall total by five. And there are still plenty of events left to come.

THE RAIN WILL WASH AWAY THEIR TEARS AND THE SAND WILL SOAK IT ALL UP
Tears of joy flow as the Brazilian pairing of Bruno Schmidt and Alison Cerutti triumph. In the end, they made it look easy (only 40mins on court), but the rain, the crowd, the emotion...it's been a dramatic evening.

Schmidt tells Brazilian TV after the game: "Two weeks without sleeping. I have to thank my dad. I thought about retiring three times, but I didn't quit."

GOLD FOR BRAZIL!
The Brazilians have done it in two straight sets: 21-19 21-17

BRAZIL TAKE LEAD IN THE SECOND SET
The fans are jumping out of their seats after the Brazilian pair extend their lead to 19-15 in the second set. They're getting close.

CHINA TO MEET SERBIA IN THE FINAL
China have beaten the Netherlands 3-1 in the second semi-final of the women's volleyball tournament. The Netherlands did remarkably well to make the Chinese fight for each one of those three sets. It's 20 years since the Netherlands have qualified for an Olympics in the women's volleyball and having never won a medal, there's still a chance they could so that against the USA in the bronze medal match-up.

China will play Serbia at 10:15pm on Saturday.
