TRACKS FOR THE TRACK

The character in the cap is DJ Narity, who is on the PA and playing all the music at Jamaica House, Rio - where a raucous crowd is watching Usain Bolt in action.

He says he plans to play 'I'm a big deal' by Chris Martin or 'Champion' by DJ Bravo if Bolt wins his race. And if you ask anyone in Jamaica House, Bolt WILL win his race.

BOLT FANS ARE IN THE HOUSE

Jamaica House, that is, in central Rio de Janeiro, where an enthusiastic crowd of Caribbean sprint fans are watching tonight's races.

Proud Jamaican Jacqui Evans (pictured) told Rio 2016: "We're proud of everything they have done, for the tremendous way they put us out there on the world stage as they have always done. This is just really special. This is something I have wanted to all my life. I am a big fan of athletics.

"Where we come from as a people and as a country with such limited resources, it means so much to be here where the world can see what we can do. We come from a poor little country and this is so wonderful."

HE'S HAVING A LAUGH

Let's have a look at that again. This is incredible. Bolt is literally laughing - LAUGHING - during the race. While his opponents' faces are contorted by grimaces of determination, the champion casually looks from left to right before breaking into a grin and then loosening off his pace as he crosses the finish line.

Either he saw something funny, or he has just realised he is going to run FAST in that final. It's coming up at 10.25pm.

WHOOSH!

That was fast. Bolt wins his semi-final in a time of 9.86 seconds. He didn't even break sweat.

FALSE START! We have a false start.

Not Bolt... it's Andrew Fisher of Bahrain and he's out.

Now, it's Bolt time...

ANDY MURRAY IS OLYMPIC CHAMPION!

Again. Del Potro sends an effort into the net and it's game, set and match. Murray wins 7-5, 4-6, 6-1, 7-5. Both men are in tears.

Another match point for Murray. Meanwhile, Usain Bolt is on the track. It's all happening!

Match point Andy Murray... but he hits a return weakly into the net! 5-6 and deuce.

NOT LONG NOW...

In all this tennis excitement, you could almost forget that the men's 100m semi-finals will be starting in less than 10 minutes. Who are we kidding? No one on the globe right now could forget that.

Once again, the star attraction will be Usain Bolt, who runs in the second semi-final. He'll be going for gold again, and maybe even for a world record. Here's a reminder of how that one has gone for the past 100 years or so...

Epic game! And Murray prevails to save the set. That's 5-5, with Murray to serve.

Del Potro is serving for the fourth set. He is one break point down... 15-30.

MURRAY REGAINS LEAD

Andy Murray breaks Del Potro again to seal the third set 6-2. The Olympic champion leads 2-1. He is just one set away from another gold medal.

TAKEN! Del Potro sends an effort long and the defending champion can regain the lead. It's 4-2 and Murray is on serve.

Break point Murray...
