WE CAN STOP TALKING ABOUT PHELPS BECAUSE BOLT TIME IS HERE
Heats for the 100m start at midday. While they are usually nothing but a formality for the big names, at recent Olympics heats have become a game of who can jog the slowest and still qualify. So we will all be given the chance to see Usain Bolt jogging at his most fantastically slow pace.
That time again is midday, 12:00pm. For all of Bolt's race times, click here.
There will however be more Phelps time at at 11:04pm, when the most decorated Olympian ever goes for a golden goodbye in the 4x100m freestyle relay.
Nine highlights not to miss at Rio 2016 on Saturday 13 August
KIWIS FLYING HOME
After a disappointing campaign by their monumental standards, the New Zealand rugby sevens team boarded their flight home last night. The team's fallen star, Sonny Bill Williams, who ruptured his achilles in their opener against Japan, looked in good spirits as he was given a helping hand by team-mate Liam Messam.
Williams is set to join the Auckland Blues for the 2017 season. Hopefully nurse Hunga can work his magic before then.
BARBARA WAKES UP A SPORTING IDOL
Brazil has a new sporting heroine this morning: Barbara, the goalkeeper whose heroics in Friday night's penalty shoot-out saw Brazil beat Australia and progress to a tantalising semi-final against Sweden in Rio.
With the USA out, the Brazilians now have a very real chance of claiming Olympic gold on home soil.

TEARS OF JOY AS DPR KOREA TAKES FIRST GOLD
The emotions of sport know no boundaries. We have already seen enough tears on the podium to fill an Olympic-sized pool. On Friday evening, Rim Jong-Sim of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, who claimed the country's first gold of Rio 2016 in the 75kg weightlifting class, couldn't hold back the emotions at the medal ceremony.
"When I saw that I (had) secured the first place in the competition, the first thing I thought was that I made beloved Great Leader Kim Jong-Un happy and I just want to see him as soon as possible," she said after her achievement.

BOM DIA
It's a glorious bright morning here in Rio de Janeiro, a pleasant change after the unsettled weather earlier in the week. Bright prospects too for a real super Saturday of Olympic sport. The athletics programme is warmly up nicely: later today we have golds to be won in the women’s 100m and heptathlon and the men’s discus, 10,000m and long jump.
Plus a certain Mr Bolt will be back on track.
Not forgetting the women's tennis final. some tasty-looking men's quarter-final football matches and of course what could be the final farewell of Michael Phelps to Olympic competition.
Teeing things up for us are the golfers, with Australia's Marcus Fraser, Sweden's Henrik Stenson and GB's Justin Rose some of the big names in contention in the men's event, now in its third day.
PHEW!
After an evening of sport that left us breathless, it's time to take a breather. We'll be back with more Rio-Time Updates on Saturday.
In the meantime, here's a photo of Katie Ledecky. What a woman.

BARBARA THE HERO
Two oustanding saves in a dramatic penalty shoot-out from Brazil goalkeeper Barbara have kept alive the hosts' dream of an Olympic football gold medal double. Nobody will be more grateful to the shot-stopper than captain Marta, who missed her spot-kick at 4-4 and left her side staring defeat in the face. It could have been a very different story then.
As it is, Brazil will face Sweden in the semi-final next Tuesday. Canada take on Germany in the other last-four match.

BRAZIL HAVE DONE IT! After Tamires converts, Barbara makes an incredible save to deny Alanna Kennedy and the hosts prevail 7-6 on penalties!
Chloe Logarzo is ice-cool to make it 6-6.
We're into sudden death. 5-5. Monica is next... and she squeezes her effort in at the near post. That was close.
But Barbara saves Katrina Gorry's effort and keeps Brazil in it!
MARTA MISSES! 4-4. Australia can win it with the next kick...
PENALTIES AGAIN!
Before today, there had never been a penalty shoot-out in an Olympic Games women's football tournament.
USA's draw with Sweden broke that long record, and now it's happened again. Brazil and Australia will take spot-kicks to decide who makes the last four. This is going to be emotional.
Brazilian chances have been few and far between in extra time but Marta creates one for herself. The captain cuts inside before firing low towards the botttom corner - but her shot is tipped around the post. One minute left...
We're into the second period of extra time between Brazil and Australia. Can someone find a winner?
Andressa Alves has a free-kick in a dangerous position... but she sends it over the bar.
