SO THAT'S WHAT SCORING GOALS FEELS LIKE
It's all over in Salvador, where Brazil have eased past Denmark. Gabriel Barbosa scored twice, Gabriel Jesus scored once and Luan got the other to seal a 4-0 win.
South Africa and Iran will be kicking themselves, because their draw in the other group A match means the Danes still qualify for the quarter-finals.

ANOTHER LATE NIGHT FOR MR PHELPS...
Doesn't Michael Phelps ever get tired? Not only has he been winning gold medals most evenings this week, he also has a three-month old son to contend with.
But it's all water off a legend's back. The American has just finished first in his individual 200m medley semi-final, ahead of Ryan Lochte, to set up another medal showdown tomorrow night. Quite possibly his last.

DING NING WINS TABLE TENNIS DING-DONG
An epic all-Chinese women's table tennis final has ended with Ding Ning beating Li Xiaoxia 4-3 to take gold.
Earlier, Republic of Korea's Kim Song I had beaten Japan's Ai Fukuhara to claim bronze.
They all look pretty happy with their medals.

JUST LIKE WATCHING BRAZIL
Brazil are back. Luan finishes off a delicious move with a thumping strike to give his side a 3-0 lead against Denmark.
All eyes now turn to the other group A match between South Africa and Iraq, because if either of those sides can grab a winner (it's currently 1-1) they will leapfrog the Danes and go through.
THIS CHALMING MAN
Minutes after narrowly missing out on gold in the women's 200m butterfly, Australia take a shock gold in the men's 100m freestyle. It's 18-year-old Kyle Chalmers who makes a last-gasp grab for the wall to win it, beating off competition from Belgium's Pieter Timmers and the USA's defending champion Nathan Adrian.

Now for the men's 100m freestyle final...
BELMONTE GETS THE GOLD
After taking silver at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Spanish swimmer Mireia Belmonte has gone one better in the women's 200m butterfly final at Rio 2016. She has taken the gold medal, pipping Australia's Madeline Groves - the fastest qualifier - by three-hundredths of a second. Natsumi Hoshi of Japan took bronze.
'THE WHOLE OF KAZAHKSTAN WILL BE DRINKING TONIGHT'
That's according to Kazakh swimmer Dimitriy Balandin, who has won the country's second gold medal of the day with a surprise victory in the men's 200m breastroke final. Earlier, Nijat Rahimov won the men's 77kg weightlifting title.
It's currently 7.45am in Kazakhstan, so let's hope they don't start drinking too early.
GABRIEL JESUS SUPERSTAR
Panic officially over. Brazil have a second goal against Denmark, and it's Gabriel Jesus who has scored it - popping up at the far post to tap home a Luan cross. As things stand, Brazil are heading to the quarter-finals as group winners.
In the other match, it's still South Africa 1-1 Iraq with a few minutes to go until half-time.

TUNE IN NOW: TABLE TENNIS FINAL GOES TO THE WIRE
We're into a deciding set in the women's singles table tennis final between Chinese duo Ding Ning and Lia Xiaoxia, who are tied 3-3 in an engrossing encounter. Follow the climax here.
GOOOOOOOOOOLLLL!
Brazil have scored! Repeat. Brazil have scored! It's a scrappy effort from alleged Leicester City target Gabriel Barbosa, but nobody minds about that as the hosts celebrate their first goal of Rio 2016. They lead Denmark 1-0.
TUNE IN NOW: BRAZIL 0-0 DENMARK
Up in Salvador, we're 20 minutes in and Brazil's penchant for goalless draws continues. They are enjoying plenty of possession against the table-topping Danes, but there are not many chances to tell you about.
Just to rub it in further, goals are flying in at tonight's other group A match, where South Africa and Iraq have already scored a goal each. Follow the progress of Neymar and co here.
SWIMMING GOLD FOR KAZAKHSTAN!
Dimitriy Balandin has won an incredibly tight men's 200m breastroke final, beating silver medallist Josh Prenot, of the USA, by seven-hundredths of a second in a time of two minutes and 7.46 seconds.
There was less than a second separating the first seven swimmers. Balandin, in lane eight, was actually the slowest of all the qualifiers.
It's Kazakhstan's first ever swimming gold medal. There are a lot of people tweeting about Borat right now.

BUT TONIGHT IS NOT JUST ABOUT FOOTBALL...
We have four swimming finals, plus one in table tennis, coming right up...
THE BIG ONE
There's plenty of sport still to come on day 5 of Rio 2016, but for the next two hours all Brazilian eyes will be focused in one direction: Brazil v Denmark at the Fonte Nova arena, Salvador.
After two goalless draws, Brazil need a result. A win will send them through, a draw probably won't, and a defeat will send them out of a tournament many expected them to win. Once again, Neymar leads the attack. Can they score their first goal of these Olympic Games?
